Accommodation Services includes bed and breakfast homes, short-term rentals, boarding or lodging houses, or group homes. It also includes operators of long-term rental buildings, congregate housing, mobile home parks, campsites, hotels, motels or resorts.

Depending on the nature of your business, the following may be required to complete your business licence application:

• Number of employees (your employee count should include the business owner, but exclude all contractors/subcontractors as they are required to obtain their own business licences)
• Floor area (m²) of your business location.
• Number of units used for your accommodation service such as number of bedrooms, suites, pads or rental spaces.
• If you are applying for a Short-Term Rental Licence you will need to provide your completed application package and supporting documents.
• If you are applying for a Bed & Breakfast you will need to provide your supporting documents.
• If you are a registered non-profit organization, a copy of your Societies Act Certificate of Incorporation will be required.
